An investigation into a shooting on Tuesday in Umatilla County has led to an arrest. Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested 35 year old Travis Laib of Pendleton, on felony charges including Assault; Felon in Possession of a Weapon; and Unlawful use of a Weapon. The arrest comes after deputies responded to St. Anthony Hospital for a report of a man who had come into the emergency room with a gunshot wound which resulted in a partial amputation of his right arm. Laib has been locked up behind bars in the Umatilla County Jail.
