Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

What began as a traffic stop in Jefferson County for speeding, turned into a major drug bust. An Oregon State Police Trooper stopped a vehicle on Highway 97, noticed signs of criminal activity, and then searched the vehicle. During that search, the Trooper found more than 7 pounds of Methamphetamine. The occupants of the vehicle, both from the state of Washington, were locked up in the Jefferson County where they are facing a long string of charges.
