Pendleton Police School Resource Officer Lance Zaugg last week, got information about suspected possession and distribution of illegal controlled substances at Pendleton High School. In a coordinated effort with the school administration, an investigation was initiated, which identified a 17-year-old student as a suspect in the possession and delivery of controlled substances at the school. The student was contacted and then a search warrant was obtained for the student’s vehicle. The led to evidence being seized. Pendleton Police say they are taking appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all students. The investigation is ongoing.
