If you still want to do a little spring chinook salmon fishing in the mainstem of the Columbia River downstream of Bonneville Dam, you still have some time left… but not much. Fishery managers from Oregon and Washington now say Tuesday is the final day of a brief extension. The season upstream of Bonneville Dam, from the Tower Island power lines upstream to the Oregon/Washington border, started April 1 and continues through Saturday, May 6 as originally scheduled.
