In La Grande, the City Water Meter Change Program is continuing this week, as the public works department continues to install the new high-tech meters in all homes and businesses. The new meters will allow the city to monitor water usage and to alert property owners about possible leaks. But they don’t come without a little disturbance. Your water service will be disrupted for about ten to fifteen minutes while crews change out your meter. The work is expected to run through each day this week through Thursday from 8am to 4pm… or until all the meters have been swapped.
