In case you haven’t noticed, much of the country is suffering from what sometimes is referred to as ‘The Dog Days Of Summer.’ Heat has been felt across the nation, and now the National Weather Service at Pendleton has issued an extreme heat advisory for our region, starting Tuesday. Forecasters say the heat wave is expected to bring with it the hottest temperatures so far this year. An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect beginning Tuesday morning and running through Friday evening for all non-mountain zones.
