Oregon State Police served an illegal marijuana manufacturing search warrant on a property on Granite Hill Road in Josephine County, where they found 32 greenhouses that contained 6,848 illegal marijuana plants, several hundred pounds of hanging/drying marijuana that had been recently harvested, 2 handguns, and a double-barreled shotgun. They also found several hundred pounds of processed marijuana stored in a trailer for transport. All the illegal pot was seized and destroyed. Josephine County will move forward with enforcement action against the property owner which could result in the closure of the property for one year and possible civil forfeiture.
