Killings Blamed on Wolves

Last week, the carcasses of two 10-month-old calves were found in a 5000-acre private-land pasture. Investigators say the severity, size, and location of the wounds are consistent with injuries to cattle attacked by wolves. The depredation is attributed to wolves of the Lookout Mountain Pack. One other carcass was missing when the investigation occurred, and that means the cause of death for that animal was “Possible/Unknown”.
