A crash in Baker County involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Hwy 203, at the Interstate 84 overpass. The truck was driven by 77 year old Robert Lee Drinkard, who police say drove into the path of a Harley Davidson, operated by 27 year old Ryan James Brecko of Baker City. Brecko was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered critical injuries. An Oregon State Trooper was traveling in front of the motorcycle and immediately responded. Brecko was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Drinkard remained on scene. The investigation on-going.
